VDM was responsible for the overall masterplanning of the Um Al Quwain Motorplex complex for Emirate Motorplex which is to become the state of the art motor-sport facility accommodating multi motor sport activities for international competitive racing meets as well as to facilitate motor sport activities for the local people of the Emirate.
VDM‘s role was to master-plan the whole facility followed by detailed design of the various facilities in a staged manner. The masterplanning included the overall marketing and business strategy to ensure financial viability of the facility was completed in 2006. VDM completed the detailed design of the upgrading of the drag strip to include state of the art barriers to ensure maximum safety for the participants. VDM also completed the schematic design of the Go Kart track, touring car track and a 4wd off road track.
